Dave was a Master Builder and Carpenter prior to retiring.  As a hobby, he used to work on car and boat motors and just has a knack to figure things out.  Karen always says he's an "Engineer-should-of-been".  In addition, he doesn't like paying other people to fix things that only seem to break again or have an inferior fix.  He wants things done right the first time so he does most repairs and maintenance himself.  To that end, he buys, and when possible, installs gear and equipment himself.  Below are items that we have purchased and/or recommend.
