Dave was a Master Builder and Carpenter prior to retiring, and he’s always had a knack for figuring things out.  As a hobby, he worked on cars and boat motors and quickly became the guy who could fix just about anything.  Karen likes to say he’s an “engineer-should-of-been.”  He also doesn’t like paying others to do repairs that only break again or end up being an inferior fix.

He wants things done right the first time, so most of our repairs and maintenance are handled in-house. To that end, we buy gear and equipment ourselves and, whenever possible, install it on our own.  Below are some of the items we’ve purchased, used, and recommend.
