Dave was originally from Dearborn Heights, MI and I was originally from Sandusky, OH.  Dave used to work in shipping for GM where he got a little taste of the big rigs by backing them into the shipping docks to be unloaded.  Later on he became a Master Builder and Carpenter and owned his own kitchen and bath remodeling company.  I moved to Michigan in 1988 for work in quality management in the automotive industry and later the aerospace industry.

We met in 1999 and got married in 2001.  We don't have children, but love dogs.  We had two Portuguese Water Dogs, but they have since passed.  We decided to move to Georgia in 2005 to get away from the cold and snow in Michigan.  We still call Georgia home although we travel many months a year.  We travel back to our houseboat on Lake Lanier in Georgia between extended RV trips.

I also have a Real Estate license which led us into the field of real estate acquisition and property development which provided us the opportunity to retire early.  In 2016 we started the journey to learn about full-time RVing.  After lots of YouTube watching and viewing many, many RVs, we sold our sticks and bricks and bought our set-up to see our beautiful country and meet some amazing people.
