🧭 WHERE WE'VE BEEN 🧭
🙋♀️ ABOUT US 🙋♂️
Dave was originally from Detroit, MI, and I was originally from Sandusky, OH. Dave used to work in shipping for GM where he got a little taste of the big rigs by backing them into the shipping docks to be unloaded. Later on, he became a Master Builder and Carpenter and owned his own kitchen and bath remodeling company. I moved to Michigan in 1988 for work in quality management in the automotive industry and later the aerospace industry.
Dave and I also have backgrounds in real estate, which led us into the field of acquisition and property development and ultimately allowed us to retire early. In 2017, we jumped into the adventure of full-time RVing — a lifestyle we embraced for almost eight years. After countless miles, campground stays, and unforgettable experiences, we’ve recently settled back into having a home again in northern Georgia, while still keeping our sense of adventure alive.

We met in 1999 via the old AOL Romance channel ("You've Got Mail") and were married in 2001. While we don’t have children, we’ve always loved dogs and shared our lives with two Portuguese Water Dogs who are now waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge. We first moved to Georgia in 2005 to escape Michigan winters, and today we balance extended RV travel with returning to our home base in northern Georgia and enjoying time on our houseboat at Lake Lanier.

Looking back, we’ve been blessed to live this lifestyle — one that has given us the chance to see this beautiful country and, even more importantly, to make lifelong friends along the way. The journey has been full of stories, laughter, and people who will forever be part of our adventure.
Safe Travels,
Karen & Dave
